On December 14, 2012, the United States watched as 20 children and 6 of their adult caretakers were murdered in their classrooms.
We looked. We saw. And we collectively shrugged. At that point, we surrendered to those who would terrorize and murder us.
Since that day, an American child has died every other day to gun violence. Our continued inaction to remove guns from our society is horrifying, and speaks volumes about our collective lack of character. While some politicans claim to want to “make America great again,” many of us are just waiting for America to get its head out of its ass and be “barely decent” for a change.
If you haven’t done something yet to oppose the expanding presence of weapons in our society, please do something. Now.
